Basketball jersey Nos. 32 and 33, worn by Bill Walton and Lew Alcindor, will be retired by UCLA in ceremonies at halftime of the Bruins’ game against DePaul Feb. 3 at Pauley Pavilion, UCLA announced.

Alcindor, who later changed his name to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, is UCLA’s all-time leading scorer and No. 2 rebounder and led the Bruins to NCAA championships in 1967, ’68 and ’69.

Walton is UCLA’s all-time leading rebounder and No. 3 scorer and led the Bruins to NCAA titles in 1972 and ’73.

Also retired will be jersey Nos. 12 and 15, worn by women’s basketball players Denise Curry and Ann Meyers, who combined to lead the Bruins to a national championship in 1978.
