Shaw Named to NFL Executive Committee

NEW YORK —
John Shaw, executive vice president of the Rams, has been elected to the NFL Management Council Executive Committee.
He replaces the late Joe Robbie of the Miami Dolphins.
Shaw is entering his 11th year with the Rams and is the senior member of the Rams’ front office.
He is a member of the NFL Finance Committee and the executive committee of NFL Properties. Also, Shaw was active with the commissioner’s search committee.
Besides Shaw, others members of the NFL Management Council Executive Committee are chairman Hugh Culverhouse, Tampa Bay; Bill Bidwill, Phoenix; Mike Brown, Cincinnati; Wellington Mara, New York Giants and Dan Rooney, Pittsburgh.
