Tijuana
Mexican police are asking San Diegans for help in finding a 4-year-old girl missing since December, said Bill Robinson, spokesman for the San Diego Police Department.
Juana Lopez Gonzalez, a Mixtec Indian, was with her mother outside the Jai Alai Palace on Avenida Revolucion in Tijuana when she disappeared about 6 p.m. Dec. 26, Robinson said.
She does not speak Spanish, but only the Mixtec dialect, and was last seen wearing a white blouse, blue pants and black shoes.
The girl’s picture has been circulated throughout Tijuana, but police have not turned up any clues, Robinson said. They are reaching out to San Diego “to cover all the bases,” he said.
