Alamo Wins Temporary Restraining Order: A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted Alamo Rent A Car a temporary restraining order Friday preventing city officials from increasing the fee that it charges the company to operate at Los Angeles International Airport. Judge David Yaffe granted the order to prevent Alamo from having to pay the first monthly installment of a new 7% fee on the company’s gross revenues due Wednesday. The judge continued until Feb. 16 a hearing on whether Alamo should be granted a preliminary injunction against the airport. (Filed Dec. 26, 1989. Case No. C747508.)
