P.M. BRIEFING : Oakland-Burbank Flights Slated

DALLAS —
Southwest Airlines announced today that it will start service April 16 between Burbank and Oakland, with fares as low as $29.
The airline said it will offer 10 round-trip flights a day starting about 7 a.m. from both Burbank and Oakland with the last flight from both airports leaving about 7 p.m.
The walk-up fare will be $59 each way, the airline said. Advance ticket fares will be as low as $29.
Southwest said it will begin taking reservations for its new Burbank air service today.
