Attorneys for the woman who helped the FBI arrest Washington Mayor Marion Barry on a crack-cocaine charge went to Van Nuys Municipal Court without her Tuesday and secured a postponement until Feb. 9 for her arraignment on a local drunk-driving charge.

Hazel Diane Moore, 38, who also uses the name Rasheeda Moore, was not required to be present for the hearing stemming from her Jan. 1 drunk-driving arrest in North Hollywood.

An attorney for Moore, Ronald J. Lewis, declined to disclose her whereabouts, citing privacy concerns. He released a statement saying that Moore “would like to correct some of the inaccurate reports that have appeared about her. While the justice process is under way, however, she does not wish to comment. . . . “

Moore, a former model who told officers she lives in Burbank, lured the Washington mayor to a hotel room where he was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of possessing cocaine.
