Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corp. U.S.A. will produce V-6 engines for the new Nissan-Ford minivan in late 1992, officials said.

Nissan’s plant, 30 miles southeast of Nashville, will produce 150,000 engines annually and will require an additional investment of $25 million, said Nissan President Jerry L. Benefield.

The operation, which will create 250 jobs, will require a 40,000 square-foot-expansion and new assembly lines.
