Johnson & Johnson: The New Brunswick, N.J., maker of health-care products said its net income for 1989 rose 11.1% to a record $1.08 billion. Sales climbed 8.4% to $9.76 billion. Net income for fourth-quarter 1989 totaled $203 million, up 10.3%, on sales of $2.47 billion, up 12.3%. The company cited strong sales growth in its pharmaceutical segment, both internationally and domestically.
