Sheriff’s deputies were searching Tuesday for two teen-agers suspected in the shooting death of a young man and the wounding of his 16-year-old brother near Carson High School.

The two unidentified teen-agers, believed to be between 14 and 17, threw a bottle at a car that passed by as they stood on 223rd Street Monday night, sheriff’s officials said.

Pulou Afusia, 22, and his brother Aaron, 16, stopped their car and approached the two teen-agers, who began yelling gang slogans, said Sheriff’s Sgt. Terry Judge. One of the suspects pulled a pistol and fired at least two shots, killing Pulou Afusia and wounding Aaron Afusia in the stomach.
