Female Honorees Deserved Due, Too

Your coverage of last Saturday’s ceremony at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion was extremely misleading. How can you edit two honorees out of the picture based solely on their sex?

UCLA did an excellent job honoring four special athletes together, but only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Walton were pictured and mentioned in the article. Anne Meyers and Denise Curry were allocated to the small print at the end of the article.

Your intentional exclusion of covering excellent female athletes has reached new heights. Isn’t it about time the “Good Ol’ Boys” club in your sports department is either broken up or enlightened?
