San Diego
A man suspected of robbing three adult bookstores in East San Diego this year was arrested late Thursday at an adult theater on University Avenue, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
Carl Stevens Hudson, 35, is being held in County Jail on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, Robinson said. Bail is set at $30,000.
An employee at Kitty Kat Theatre called police at 11:18 p.m. after recognizing Hudson from photographs that police had distributed in adult bookstores.
