New Call Letters for KJOI: KJOI-FM (98.7) changed its call letters early Monday to KXEZ, about four months after making a change in format from “beautiful music” to easy listening soft hits. .. . Also at KXEZ, Rich Capparela, a former KFAC-FM announcer who made a much-publicized move to KJOI just after the format change last October, was fired last Friday. He has been replaced by Steve Day in the 5-9 a.m. shift.
