Drive-By Shooting in Pacoima Kills Man
A gunman shooting from a car killed a man who was standing outside a Pacoima restaurant with friends and relatives Monday night, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The victim, described as being in his early 20s, was pronounced dead at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley shortly after the shooting, which occurred outside the Los Amigos Cafe in the 10200 block of San Fernando Road, Sgt. Robert Ontiveros said. No suspects had been arrested in the shooting, which appeared to be gang related, he said.
The victim’s name was withheld until relatives could be notified.
