Share

Fishing has been slow at many Southland reservoirs, but just the opposite at San Bernardino County’s Silverwood Lake.

According to a spokeswoman, a trout plant last Friday has resulted in several limits, and there has also been activity by largemouth and striped bass.

Dave Earwood of Chino caught his five-fish limit of largemouth bass, the largest a four-pounder. Greg Silks of Alta Loma topped the list with 22- and 24-pound stripers.
