Memorial for Chapman Music Chairman
A memorial service for Donn Laurence Mills, who died Feb. 8 of meningitis at age 58, will be held at noon today in Chapman College’s Memorial Hall in Orange.
Mills had been chairman of the music department at the college since 1986. He also founded the Capistrano Valley Symphony in 1985.
The orchestra will hold a memorial service at 3 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Lantern Bay Park Amphitheater in Dana Point.
