Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery reprise their original roles for “Highlander II,” going into production March 1 in Argentina. The future-past-present time-hopping drama--again directed by Russell Mulcahy and produced by Peter S. Davis and William N. Panzer--also stars Virginia Madsen and Michael Ironside.

Sean Young unwittingly marries her twin sister’s murderer, Matt Dillon, in “A Kiss Before Dying,” a psychological thriller directed by James Dearden (screenwriter of “Fatal Attraction”) from his adaptation of Ira Levin’s novel. Diane Ladd plays Dillon’s mom. Max von Sydow also stars in this Robert Lawrence production rolling in London next month for Universal.

Murder also figures in “Mortal Thoughts,” a suspense drama starring Demi Moore and Glenne Headly as beauticians whose friendship is strained by a killing. Also starring are Peter Gallagher, Bruce Willis, Billie Neal and Harvey Keitel. First-time feature director Claude Kerven directs from a script he wrote with William Reilley for New Visions and Avalanche Films. Filming begins in Hoboken, N.J., on Tuesday. Gallagher has also signed to play a crucial supporting role in Castle Rock and W.D. Richter’s “Late for Dinner,” slated for production March 5.

Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston will co-star in Tri-Star’s “Disappearing Acts,” a dramatic love story based on Terry McMillan’s novel. New York playwright Percy Granger is writing the adaptation for producer D. Constantine Conte. The production’s scheduled to catch the Christmas weather necessary for the story in New York and Ohio this winter. No director yet.

Ralph Waite (“The Waltons”) stars as a futuristic adventurer in Full Moon Entertainment’s “Crash and Burn.” Charles Band directs Dennis Paoli’s screenplay starting this week in L.A.
