School Space Needs

The column by Sam Hall Kaplan (“A 125-Story Consciousness-Raising,” Feb. 4), brings a little bit of rationality to the gigantic programs proposed for the Ambassador Hotel by the L.A. Board of Education and Donald Trump.

As for the people of the Board of Education, Kaplan points out it is time they should start thinking that a school does not need 23.5 acres of land, especially when acres for $2 million each, are only to benefit 10% of the student body.

The administrators and the members of the board of any scholastic institution should know by now that this nation needs more educated students than illiterate athletes.
