LOCAL : Vandals Hit Studio City Stores
Vandals, possibly armed with a pellet gun or a slingshot, shattered several plate-glass windows of shops along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, the Los Angeles police reported this morning.
Ten store owners in the 11900 block of Ventura Boulevard reported that large display windows had been cracked or broken by unknown projectiles about 9 p.m. Monday, Lt. John McCrillis said.
There were no suspects, he said.
“It looks like some people were driving down the boulevard and were shooting at the windows,” McCrillis said. “There is not much to go on. We are hoping that maybe someone saw them and will give us a description.”
