You can imagine my surprise as pastry chef for Cafe Montana upon reading Charles Perry’s Jan. 14 review of our restaurant and learning that our “pastries are said to come from the Rose Cafe.”
Because I prepare the pastries, breakfast muffins, scones and hamburger buns for both Cafe Montana and our sister restaurant, Babalu, and since the sales of these items are so high, we need to augment our pastry selection for Cafe Montana with just a few items prepared by the Rose Cafe or Oh No Nannette.
