Raiders, Saints Will Play in London

The Raiders and the New Orleans Saints will play an exhibition game in London Aug. 5, the National Football League said Friday. It will be the fifth exhibition season in a row that the NFL has played in London’s Wembley Stadium.

The game, the first for the Raiders outside the United States, will be an extra one on their exhibition schedule. After the opener in London, they will return to play the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers.

The league will pay each team’s expenses for necessary personnel.

The Rams played an exhibition in London two years ago, beating Denver, 28-27.
