HEART ATTACK:

Heart is so beloved by rock producers that it had two of ‘em involved with its new album, “Brigade,” which debuts March 26 on Capitol Records. Richie Zito actually produced the album himself. But veteran hitmaker Mutt Lange is such a Heart fan that he wrote a song for the band. Titled “All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You,” it’s the record’s first single--and a potential source of controversy, since it describes a woman who picks up a hitchhiker and takes him to a hotel for a one-night stand. “We probably will take some heat for the song,” says Ann Wilson. “But we don’t care.” The record also features a pair of tunes written by Heart drummer Denny Carmassi and his old bandmate from Montrose--Sammy Hagar--who collaborated on “The Night” and “Fall From Grace.” Other tunes include “Tall Dark Handsome Stranger,” “Call of the Wild” and “Stranded” (paging Scott Shannon--it’s a hot power ballad).
