Screening Shows Work of Latino Students: UCLA Film School will be showcasing the work of seven Latino student film makers tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Melnitz Hall in what the school is calling the first university Chicano film screening of student work. Five films and three videos will be screened, three of the films having won awards. Community leaders will be on hand as will film makers Moctesuma Esparza (“Milagro Beanfield War”) and Gregory Nava (“El Norte”), both UCLA graduates.
