World IN BRIEF : EL SALVADOR : Quayle Attends Funeral for Duarte

U.S. Vice President Dan Quayle, Costa Rican President Oscar Arias Sanchez and Guatemalan leader Vinicio Cerezo Arevalo joined other dignitaries at a funeral Mass in San Salvador for Jose Napoleon Duarte. The former Salvadoran president died Friday after a series of heart attacks and a respiratory blockage. He was 64.
