Harley Davidson Inc.: The Milwaukee motorcycle maker said net income in 1989 totaled $32.9 million, up 38% from 1988. Sales were up 11.5% to $790.9 million. The company said the increases resulted largely from strong motorcycle sales, which were up 25% from 1988.
