First Mike Tyson, now “60 Minutes”? CBS’ popular news magazine did not win its time slot Sunday night, according to ratings released Tuesday by the A. C. Nielsen Co. Instead, a repeat broadcast of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” from last November attracted the largest audience--about 17.9 million homes, compared to about 15.4 million for “60 Minutes.” ABC said it was the first time in 12 years that one of its entertainment programs had won in that Sunday 7-8 p.m. time period. NBC, meanwhile, took the overall viewing honors for the week with six of the 10 most-watched programs. The full list of ratings is on Page 9.

* Despite the strong lead-in from “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” ABC’s three-hour movie about the 1986 space shuttle disaster fared poorly. “Challenger” attracted 20% of the available audience (compared to the 31% that tuned in “Videos”) and trailed not only the programming on NBC and CBS but also both “The Simpsons” and “Married . . . With Kids” on Fox.
