Darrin Dafney, a reserve guard on the UCLA basketball team, is suffering from a bleeding ulcer, a UCLA spokesman said.
A sophomore from Fremont High School, Dafney, 20, was taken to the UCLA Medical Center at halftime of the Bruins’ game against Washington State Thursday night after complaining of severe abdominal pain.
