FOCUS: BENTALL EXECUTIVE CENTRE

Construction has begun on phase one of the Bentall Executive Centre, which consists of a 10-story office tower and a seven-level detached parking garage. The project is owned by Bentall/Westminster Partners, a general partnership of Bentall Properties Inc. of Orange and Tanasana Properties Inc., a subsidiary of the Yattendon Investment Trust of the United Kingdom. The first phase is expected to be ready for occupancy in the second quarter of 1991. The second phase will include a six-story, 120,000-square-foot office building, a free-standing restaurant and an expansion of the parking garage to accommodate 400 more cars. Construction on the $28-million second phase is scheduled to begin in 1992.
