HUNTINGTON BEACH : Panel Will Discuss Oil-Spill Prevention
The Amigos de Bolsa Chica, an environmental organization, is sponsoring a panel discussion tonight on “Lessons We Learned From the Recent Oil Spill.”
Speakers will include Fire Chief Ray Picard, who coordinated city staff emergency work during the oil spill, and Gary Gorman, executive director of the Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy.
The discussion will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Room B-8 of City Hall. Admission is free.
