MOORPARK : District Hiring Policy Challenged
The Ventura County chapter of the NAACP has questioned the Moorpark Unified School District’s commitment to affirmative action, publicly challenging district officials to explain their policies.
Theodore Green, an official with the National Assn. for the Advancement of Colored People, at a district board meeting Tuesday night said district officials had failed to produce its policies.
Superintendent Thomas G. Duffy told theboard he is reviewing the policy.
