The City Council adopted five resolutions and ordinances necessary for the construction of the Marina Place regional shopping mall near the intersection of Lincoln and Washington boulevards.
The five measures were approved in a succession of 3-2 votes, with Councilmen Steven Gourley and Jim Boulgarides voting against all five.
The resolutions and ordinances, concerning the mall’s design, its compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act, amendments to the city General Plan and a zone change, had received initial approval from the council last week.
