Computer Automation Names President: Computer Automation Inc. of Irvine named William L. Osmundsen, the firm’s chief financial officer, to the additional titles of president, chief operating officer and director. Osmundsen replaces Douglas L. Cutsforth, who resigned last April. He said the company, which has been trying to sell its automatic test equipment business, is “nearing an acceptable resolution” for disposition of the operation. He did not elaborate. Computer Automation also makes data communications equipment, heavy-duty microcomputers and facsimile subsystems.
