Westminster Man Shot in His Car by 4 on Street
A Westminster man was shot and wounded in an apparent ambush by four men Monday, authorities said.
Trung Van Pham, 32, was released from Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center after being treated for gunshot wounds in the left shoulder and arm, Westminster Police Sgt. Bill Lewis said.
Trung was driving his car when the attack occurred in the 9100 block of Dalton Circle about 6:30 p.m., Lewis said. Up to five shots were apparently fired from a group of four men standing on the street, he said.
“It seems like they were waiting on him,” the sergeant said.
Trung was able to drive himself home where he summoned help, Lewis said.
No arrests had been made by late Monday.
