Pomona : Drunk-Driving Hearing
A preliminary hearing will begin today in Pomona Municipal Court for a Glendora man who prosecutors say has one of the worst drunk-driving records in the San Gabriel Valley.
Charles G. Hendrickson, 41, could face a maximum sentence of five years in state prison if convicted again of driving under the influence of alcohol and other related charges. It would be his 14th drunk-driving conviction in 10 years.
Hendrickson was last arrested for drunk driving in San Dimas last Sept. 3. Prosecutors said his blood alcohol level was .29%, nearly triple the .10% legal limit at the time. The new limit is .08%. He was being held in the Los Angeles County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
