Hal Compton has been named senior vice president of store operations for HomeClub Inc., the Fullerton-based discount home improvement chain. Prior to joining HomeClub, Compton was senior vice president of store operations for Roses Stores, a chain of regional discount stores based in Henderson, N.C. Before that, he spent 21 years with Zayre Corp.
