Buyer Found for John Breuner Co.: BAT Industries said it reached an agreement to sell its furniture store chain, John Breuner Co., to Prism Capital Corp. of New York for $92.5 million. It involves the 18 Breuners stores in Northern California, Arizona and Nevada but not the company’s 44 rental centers, which still are up for sale. Prism already owns a controlling interesting Barker Bros., an 11-store Southern California furniture chain, but plans to keep the retail operations separate.
