Britons Say Albania Holds 120 Protesters

LONDON —
Albania has detained 120 people who took part in demonstrations in January for religious freedom in the hard-line Communist state, a British monitoring group said Wednesday.
Keston College, which monitors religious affairs in Eastern Europe, said those arrested were among 1,000 Albanians who demonstrated on Jan. 11 in the northern town of Shkodra.
