Remodeling a home is a major undertaking, requiring educated decisions on a variety of subjects, often made under deadline pressure and with a great deal of stress.

An April 28 seminar on “Renovating a Home for the Southern California Lifestyle” will bring together remodelers, architects, financial experts, interior decorators, real estate agents and others to make the remodeling process easier on the homeowner.

The 9 a.m.-4 p.m. session at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel, 5855 W. Century Blvd., is being presented by UCLA Extension in cooperation with the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California. The charge is $95, and early registration is advised due to space limitations, according to a UCLA Extension spokeswoman.
