A summary of Southern California-related business litigation developments during the week of March 26:
Restraining Order Extended: A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has extended until April 10 an order against Beta Technical Schools in Long Beach. Under the order, the school must stop making allegedly “untrue or misleading” statements about its ability to train auto repair students. The state alleges Graves promises to teach students to be automobile technicians in a three-month course with tuition of $5,000 when the school lacked the proper facilities. The suit seeks $1 million in refunds to Beta students. (Filed March 22, Case No. C755969)
