HR Textron Inc. in Valencia said McDonnell Douglas has awarded it a contract valued at more than $10 million for the production of aircraft testing equipment.
HR Textron, a unit of Textron Corp., said the equipment will be used for checking hydraulic flight-control components and subassemblies of the Air Force’s F-15 fighter planes.
The contract calls for the production this year of one testing prototype, which will remain at HR Textron’s plant, and two testing stations to be delivered to the Air Force in 1992.
