Great Western Ends Branch Deal: Great Western Bank of Beverly Hills said its definitive agreement to acquire 63 Florida branches of ailing CenTrust Bank of Miami terminated by its own terms on March 31. CenTrust was seized by regulators earlier this year. Regulators said they hoped by June to sell CenTrust and 10 other large thrifts with assets totaling nearly $26 billion.
