Vincent, GOP Group Each Fined $16,000
Inglewood Mayor Edward Vincent and the treasurer of a California Young Republicans group have each been fined $16,000 for violations of the state Fair Political Practices Act.
Vincent was fined by the Fair Political Practices Commissions for eight campaign disclosure violations in an April, 1987, election. Vincent earlier had agreed to to the settlement arrangement with the FPPC.
The other $16,000 fine involved eight campaign reporting violations against the California Young Republicans Political Action Committee and its treasurer, Daniel Dellicompagni of Huntington Beach. The FPPC said the organization failed to file six semi-annual campaign statements and two pre-election campaign statements by the deadlines in the last four years.
