Parker Promoted to Chief of Buena Park’s Leach Corp.
Larry L. Parker has been promoted to president and chief executive of Leach Corp., Buena Park. He succeeds Jefferson Z. Amacker, who has resigned to join Teledyne Controls.
Parker had been executive vice president and chief operations officer since February, 1989. He joined the company in 1984 as vice president and general manager of the control products division. Before that, he was vice president, worldwide operations for the Bausch & Lomb Applied Research division in Sunland, north of Burbank.
In 1973-79, Parker was vice president of manufacturing for Pacific Valves in Long Beach. Leach Corp. manufactures electromechanical and electronic circuit control devices for the commercial and military aerospace markets.
