Authorities are asking public help in identifying a woman who was struck and killed by a car Sunday night in Huntington Beach.
The woman was not carrying identification when she was struck near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Newland Avenue at 10 p.m.
A County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said the woman was white and about 18 years old, with brown hair, brown eyes and a slender build. She wore a black cotton dress, a red long-sleeve shirt, a pink sweater and had human hair wrapped around her left ring finger.
Huntington Beach Police Sgt. Carl Vidano said that the driver of the car involved in the accident immediately came forward and no foul play is suspected.
Senior Deputy Coroner Joe Luckey is seeking information, at (714) 647-7400.
