Serial Killer Feared as 7th Body Is Found

A young woman has been found strangled in the same area where six other bodies have been discovered since September, fueling fears that the deaths are the work of a serial killer.

It was the seventh time in as many months that a black woman in her 20s or 30s has been found dead in or around Gillham Park, said Sgt. Greg Mills of the Kansas City Police Department.

All the women were strangled, Mills said.
