Tom Kelly, longtime USC radio and television announcer who is now with the Prime Ticket network, apparently suffered a heart attack early Sunday at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, prior to a scheduled round of golf.

A spokeswoman at Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica reported Sunday night that Kelly was in fair condition.

According to Don Carlson, who was to play in Kelly’s foursome, Kelly came out of the Riviera locker room into the clubhouse restaurant, sat down and said, “I’m having a heart attack.”

Carlson, who called paramedics, said Kelly was in considerable pain until after paramedics arrived and treated him.
