New Toronto Performing Arts Center: Garth Drabinsky and Myron Gottlieb, owners of Toronto’s downtown Pantages theater, will become the operators of a publicly financed $37.5-million performing arts complex in Toronto. The North York Performing Arts Center, scheduled to open in late 1993, will house an 1,800-seat theater, a 1,000-seat recital hall, a flexible 250-seat studio theater and a 5,000-square-foot art gallery.
