The Brea Civic and Cultural Center Gallery...

The Brea Civic and Cultural Center Gallery is calling for entries from artists working in all media for “The Real Thing,” a representational art exhibit that will open May 12. The juror is Louis Newman, director of Louis Newman Galleries in Beverly Hills. Awards totaling $650 and purchase awards will be presented, and winning artists will be encouraged to offer their work for sale. Hand-delivered entries will be accepted at the gallery, Number One Civic Center Circle, on April 20 and 21. The fee is $6 per entry; free for the first two pieces submitted by each Brea artist.
