Actress Elizabeth Taylor was hospitalized this week with a sinus infection, but a spokeswoman said Friday that her condition was not serious.
“She has a severe sinus infection. They are just trying to clear it up, that’s all,” said Chen Sam, Taylor’s New York City publicist.
Taylor, 58, entered Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital in Marina del Rey on Tuesday and was expected to be released sometime today to continue recuperation at her Beverly Hills home, Sam said.
Taylor has been plagued with health problems for years, particularly recurring back troubles traced to the filming of the movie “National Velvet” in 1945, when she fell off a horse.
