Rockwell Unit Names Vice President

Alan E. Ross has been named vice president and general manager of Digital Communications, a unit of Rockwell Communication Systems in Newport Beach.
He was previously vice president and general manager of Rockwell’s Network Transmission Systems unit based in Richardson, Tex. Before joining Rockwell in 1988, Ross was vice president, ASIC division for National Semiconductor Corp. in Santa Clara.
Previous positions include president and chief operating officer of Granger Associates and vice president and general manager of Fairchild Camera & Instrument Corp.
