Long Beach’s Johnson Keeps USBA Title

Reggie Johnson of Long Beach retained his United States Boxing Assn. middleweight championship Monday night at the Forum with a 12-round unanimous decision over Sanderline Williams of Cleveland.
Judges Robert Byrd and Dr. James Jen-Kin both scored it 119-111, and Vince Delgado had it 118-110.
Johnson is 24-1-1 with 14 knockouts. Williams is 24-11 with 14 knockouts. There were no knockdowns.
